A combination of timing, architectural structure, a limited palette and the right place, produces such awe-inspiring scenes such as this bridgeway in Carlisle, United Kingdom. This photograph was taken in February 2013
I actually hated the look of this photograph when it was took in February, yet I really wanted to capture the light source right in the middle as I witnessed it days before on the way to my old workplace. After a change of heart and a few minor Photoshop trickery I managed to make it look more respectable as I imagined.
Oh, and don't confuse Carlisle, UK with Carlisle, PA!
